Finally, we leave behind the days of merciless sun heat and embrace the goodness of cool winds and pleasant weather. Yes, we are talking about enjoying the monsoon. This season makes us feel refreshed and happy after the extreme summer heat. However, this is also the season when we experience hair fall and damage a little more than in other seasons. This is because of the humidity, which weakens our hair follicles, leading to increased hair fall. While this is a common problem during monsoon, increased hair fall can shake our confidence. Recently, nutritionist Leema Mahajan (@leemamahajan) shared a video on her Instagram handle with 5 easy tips to tackle hair fall during monsoon. Read on to know more.

Curry leaves are packed with amino acids, antioxidants, and beta-carotene, which are essential for hair health. Add 7-8 curry leaves to your daily diet to help prevent hair fall. As per the nutritionist, you can include curry leaves in your diet in the form of soups, dals, etc.
Nutritionist Leema Mahajan shared an easy recipe for homemade oil that may prevent hair fall during monsoon. All you need is mustard oil, almond oil, castor oil, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, and rosemary leaves. Apply it 30 minutes to 1 hour before washing your hair and say hello to healthy and shiny hair.
Iron and folic acid are important for hair growth, and their deficiencies can lead to hair fall. According to the nutritionist, include 1 teaspoon of spirulina, Halim seeds, or moringa in your diet, or eat dates and figs regularly to boost your iron and folic acid levels.
According to the nutritionist, make sure you are taking 1 gram of protein per kg of your body weight along with a balanced diet. Protein is the building block of hair, and appropriate intake is important for maintaining healthy hair.
