1. Greek Salad Dressing

This is one of the easiest salad dressings that is perfect for Greek salads and can also be used for other similar salads you like. To make this salad, take a small bowl and whisk together 1 tablespoon mustard, 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, and pepper to taste. Whisk constantly and stream in 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, until the dressing is emulsified. Transfer to a storage vessel and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Bring to room temperature before mixing into your salad.

2. French Salad Dressing

This recipe is similar to the Greek salad dressing recipe and works deliciously with any green salad. To make this recipe, simply whisk 1 teaspoon mustard, 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar, 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon finely chopped shallots, a pinch of sugar, and salt and pepper together in a small bowl. You can also put all these ingredients in a jar and shake well. Let it rest for 5 minutes before using. Keep up to 2 weeks.

3. Asian Salad Dressing

Add an Asian-cuisine kick to your salad with this delicious seasoning. What’s more, this recipe is dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free and vegan. In a jar, add 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar, 1.5 tablespoons honey, 3 tablespoons sesame oil, 1.5 teaspoons soy sauce, and a pinch of salt. Shake all the ingredients and your dressing is ready! You can store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

4. Thai Salad Dressing

You might ditch all other salad dressings after trying this creamy, flavourful and tangy Thai salad dressing. In a small bowl, whisk together 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter, 1 tablespoon fish sauce, 1/2 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons lime juice, 2 tablespoons white vinegar, and 1 tablespoon honey. Whisk it all together until emulsified. Store for up to one week in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

5. Classic Creamy Italian Salad Dressing

If you love Italian flavours, this creamy dressing packed with herbs is for you. Take a large mason jar and add 1/4 cup white wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, finely minced 2 cloves of garlic, 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley, 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, 2 teaspoons honey, 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Shake the jar well until everything is combined. Add a few tablespoons of water if the dressing is too thick. This salad dressing keeps in the fridge for up to 5 days.

6. Indian Paneer Salad Dressing

This creamy Indian-style dressing includes paneer as the key ingredient along with a few more ingredients and works well with your regular finely chopped salad veggies. To make this dressing, take a small blender jar and add 150 gm Paneer, 1/2 green chilli, juice of 1 lemon, 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt and black pepper to taste. If the dressing turns out too thick, you can add a little yogurt or water to thin it out. Add it to your salad and enjoy.

If you love your salads sweet and spicy, try this delicious dressing recipe with the sweetness of honey and a kick of mustard. To make this dressing, take a small bowl and whisk together 2 tablespoons stone-ground mustard, 2 tablespoons honey, 1/3 cup rice vinegar, 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 small minced shallot, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
