Khloé Kardashian Got Facial Fillers After Cheek Tumor

Khloé Kardashian is getting candid about receiving facial fillers after surgeons removed a cancerous tumor from her cheek.

“As a result of the surgery, and the tumor my incredible doctor removed, I ended up with an indentation in the side of my face,” the reality star, 40, shared in an Oct. 11 Snapchat post, according to E! News. “I waited nine months after surgery to get the indentation filled.”

Kardashian said she waited to “make sure medically everything was safe” before getting the facial injections, noting, “my doctor gave me the go ahead.”

The Good American co-founder shared before-and-after photos of the indent in her cheek, which was noticeably smaller after the fillers.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum first opened up about her skin cancer scare in October 2022.

“I have seen numerous stories going around about the ever-evolving bandage on my face with some of you wondering why I’ve been wearing one for the past few weeks,” she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “After noticing a small bump on my face and assuming it was something as minor as a zit, I decided to get it biopsied 7 months after realizing it was not budging.”

She continued, “A few days later I was told I need to have an immediate operation to remove a tumor from my face.”

Kardashian, who has been open on social media ever since about her skin healing journey, shared more details about her surgery in a September 2023 Instagram Story.

“I am definitely not complaining because I would rather have an [indentation] than melanoma any day,” she wrote, before urging her 306 million-plus followers “be consistent with your skin cancer checks!”

Noting that she “never imagined” the “tiny spec would turn into skin cancer,” she added, “I can’t fathom what could have possibly happened had I not gone to the doctor to get it looked at.”
