What Makes Ghee Podi Dosa So Unique?
Ghee podi dosa is a staple in South Indian households. The use of ghee podi masala (gun powder) is what makes it so unique. The masala adds a kick of spice to the dosa and makes it quite flavourful. Additionally, the inclusion of ghee gives the dosa a rich flavour. It is truly indulgent and is a must-try recipe for dosa lovers.
Is Ghee Podi Dosa Healthy?
Ghee podi dosa by itself is quite nutritious; however, you need to be mindful of the amount of ghee you add. When consumed in moderation, ghee can be great for your health. To make this dosa healthier, you can reduce the quantity of ghee mentioned in the recipe. For example, if it calls for adding two tablespoons, add only one. This way, the dosa will have fewer calories.
How To Ensure Ghee Podi Dosa Turns Out Crispy?
