India’s last-over six-run win against Pakistan in the nail-biting T20 World Cup 2024 fixture on Sunday has sent a wave of excitement around the world. Fans across the world celebrated the victory in grand style. This win not only boosts India’s chances of moving to the next round but also hurts Pakistan’s hopes of qualifying for the Super 8 stage. Fans have made a beeline to congratulate Rohit Sharma and team for the thumping victory. Now, Zomato, a restaurant aggregator and food delivery company, posted a message on social media to celebrate the win. The company said, “Dear Pakistan, even on our worst days, we’re still on the better side.” This playful jab highlighted the competitive nature of the match and showcased the on-field rivalry between the two teams.

Cricket fans and foodies soon joined the conversation in the comment section. “Bumrah ko lifetime Zomato subscription dedo,” said a fan.
“Now please kindly provide us with a discount coupon in Bumrah’s name,” said another.
Taking these suggestions to another level, another person went on to ask Zomato to change their name to “Bumrah-to” in honour of Jasprit Bumrah.
Meanwhile, a woman also suggested that Zomato should “deliver everyone’s food free of charge tomorrow to celebrate this victory.”
While Zomato served up real good, Swiggy, another popular food delivery service, was not far behind. Sharing an illustration, it wrote, “2nd down.” The company referred to the win over Ireland and Pakistan. It added that the next team on target is the host nation USA.
Reacting to the meme, a user wrote, “At one point in the game I was wondering, if we lost, how’s gonna deliver it! But I’m glad we won.”
“Swiggy never disappoints,” said another person.
“This time you’re going to deliver till the end, right?” asked a user.
A few said, “Now treat us with something for free please.”
