This chocolate ice cream screams healthy in every possible way. Instead of cream, it consists of makhanas and almonds. Yes, you heard that right. It also replaces sugar with one of the best natural sweeteners – dates. The chocolate used in this recipe is also sugar-free, plus dark. Could it get any better? All of these ingredients are super healthy and make this chocolate ice cream highly nutritious.
The answer is yes! You’ll be surprised to see how good this healthy variant of chocolate ice cream turns out. The texture is quite similar to that of regular chocolate ice cream, and you won’t even be able to notice the difference. However, the only difference that you might notice is that it’s less creamy. Apart from this, it’s a heavenly ice cream you don’t want to miss trying.
To make this chocolate ice cream at home, you just need a handful of ingredients. Start by adding makhana, soaked almonds, sugar-free dark chocolate, dates, and milk to a mixer grinder. Blitz to combine everything until it forms a smooth consistency. Once done, transfer to a glass baking dish and spread it out evenly. Top it with a handful of choco chips and cover the dish with cling wrap. Place it in the freezer for at least 8 to 10 hours or overnight, then serve chilled. Use an ice cream scoop dipped in warm water to get that perfect scoop.
