This unique flavour profile makes it a must-try for mango enthusiasts. Instead of sugar, this recipe uses jaggery (gud), which adds a healthier twist compared to other varieties. How To Store Gulamba For Extended Shelf Life?

Gulamba is basically a jam and should be stored like any other jam. Once it’s fully cooked, allow it to come to room temperature. Take out as much as required and transfer the rest to an airtight container. You can use either plastic or glass, depending on your preference. Place the container in your refrigerator and store it for up to 15 days.

Raw Mango Recipes | How To Make Maharashtrian-Special Gulamba At Home:

To make gulamba, you need raw mangoes, jaggery, cloves, ghee, cardamom powder, chilli powder, salt, and a half-inch cinnamon stick. Start by washing the raw mangoes thoroughly, peel them, and grate them into thin slices. Next, heat ghee in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon stick, and the raw mangoes. Mix well and cook until the mangoes release water. Once done, add cardamom powder,  jaggery, and a pinch of chilli powder. Cook this mixture for around 10-15 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and enjoy with chapati or bread.
