Mangoes, known as the “king of fruits,” are one of the most popular and cherished fruits globally. Their unique taste and flavour contribute to their widespread appeal. Additionally, mangoes are incredibly versatile, suitable for consumption fresh, blended into smoothies, or added to salads. Taking the adoration for mangoes to new heights, a restaurant in South Korea has introduced an extravagant mango buffet. The Lotte Hotel in Seoul presents its renowned mango buffet, now available for 1,35,000 won ( ₹8,257) per person. This summer indulgence serves as the perfect sequel to their winter strawberry buffet, featuring an assortment of fresh, ripe mangoes alongside a refreshing welcome drink.
Mango enthusiasts have an array of delectable desserts to savour at this establishment, such as mango cream cake, mango pudding, and mango mille-feuille, as showcased in an Instagram video posted by the restaurant. Among the highlights is the indulgent ice cream served within a whole mango. Nevertheless, the buffet extends beyond desserts, featuring a savoury corner boasting over 10 options, including sirloin, lamb ribs, and spicy rice cakes. It’s an ideal destination for those seeking a diverse meal experience. The buffet setup is visually striking, adorned with a picturesque waterfall backdrop and artistic décor, as depicted in the video. Indulging in a variety of mango desserts within such an enchanting ambiance elevates the dining experience, notwithstanding the higher price point.
