Foo has launched its all-new seasonal menu called “Fresh At Foo: The Mango Edit”. It features a range of summer specials bursting with flavours you’ll crave again and again. We had the opportunity to taste them for ourselves at one of the Mumbai outlets. Begin your meal with a yummy Avocado and Mango Salad, filled with refreshing ingredients perfect for the season. Another Mango-Avocado combo you must try is the veg sushi: Crispy Mango Tempura Maki. We also liked its non-vegetarian counterpart: the Smokey Hamachi Maki. The dumplings – Snow Pea & Asparagus (veg) and Chicken (non-veg) – on the menu also incorporate mango in their stuffing, but it’s their presentation that will catch your attention. Both have a regal raven black coating topped with gold dust.
The small plates include two popular favourites with a Mango twist: Crispy Lotus Root and Sweet & Spicy Chicken. Next, we indulged in a flavourful Stir-Fry Chilli Jasmine Rice, with raw mango, edamame, plant protein and more. You can pair it with one of Foo’s signature mains from the regular menu if you find the need for some extra topping or gravy. As for dessert, mango lovers can indulge in Foo’s Mango Block – containing mousse, ice cream, white chocolate and other treats in a single plate.
