Personal care and beauty brand Mamaearth’s former executive Abhiishekk Raj Pandey has joined beauty and salon digital marketplace Zalon. Pandey will bring over two decades of experience to his new role as chief executive officer.
“Abhiishekk brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach that aligns perfectly with our goals and aspirations,” said Zalon’s co-founders Ayush Ahuja and Sunil Khatri, India Retailing reported. “We are thrilled to onboard him to lead the company and believe his leadership will play a crucial role in driving our company forward and achieving new milestones. We are confident that his expertise and insights will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate.”
Along with Mamaearth and its parent company Honasa Consumer, Pandey has worked with a range of beauty businesses including Colorbar USA, Nykaa, and Purplle among others. The executive has extensive experience in areas including ensuring business agility, fuelling growth , and managing supply chains among other areas.
Zalon is a business to business retailer which offers both technological solutions and products to salons across India, according to its website. Zalon’s multi-brand e-commerce store covers over 15 Indian cities and offers over 100 Indian and international labels including De Fabulous, Rica, Lotus, L’Oréal, Streax, and Gillette. To date, the business has delivered over 8,000 orders and onboarded over 3,000 salons.
