Fine jewellery brand Senco Gold & Diamonds has launched a new campaign to celebrate diversity and inclusion while using sign language to sing the national anthem. Gearing up for the festive season, the business plans to amp up its retail expansion and engage shoppers with a range of promotions.
“This Independence Day, we wanted to take a moment and celebrate the force behind our brand’s success,” said Senco Gold & Diamonds’ director Joita Sen in a press release. “It’s the diversity within our employees that makes us truly unique. With our roots from Bengal, we could have thought of no better way than to represent our national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ by our employees.”
The film shows people of all abilities in the workplace as part of Senco’s commitment to equality. Along with the film’s dissemination, the brand has launched several pre-festive promotional offers. Senco now offers lab grown diamonds under its Sennes brand and has launched a ‘Azadi Utsav – Senco Chain Festival’ with money off chain making charges to boost sales.
“In order to cheer up our customers, we are also heavily investing to further expand our retail footprint and have planned a high-decibel campaign pan India,” said Sen. “All of this underpins Senco’s commitment to provide customers with exquisite designs coupled with superior craftsmanship.”
As the autumn festive season approaches, Senco Gold & Diamonds plans to roll out a range of new campaigns and promotional offers, according to the brand. The festivals of Diwali and Dhanteras are traditionally busy times for jewellers and capitalising on these months can significantly impact business’ full financial year’s performance.
