After a year in operation, Zara Home’s pop-up, “L’Appartement”, at 117 rue du Bac, in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, closed at the end of September. Launched in 2023, this experiential concept, blending décor, design and lifestyle, became a neighbourhood landmark, illustrating Inditex’s ambition to trial new premium formats in refined settings.
This temporary concept enabled Zara Home to offer an immersive approach to interior design, combining décor, lifestyle, and a café in an upmarket setting. It formed part of the Spanish group’s transformation strategy to develop more experiential and sustainable concepts in major capitals.
Zara Home now plans to establish a permanent presence at 83 rue du Bac, in the Beaupassage complex, just a few metres from its previous address, according to the Spanish media outlet Modaes, which FashionNetwork has confirmed. Scheduled to open before the end of 2025, this new location will mark a lasting presence for the brand on Paris’s Left Bank.
With this project, Inditex reaffirms its intention to strengthen the premium positioning of its brands through immersive spaces and a higher-quality offering, combining design, décor, and customer experiences.
In 2024, Zara and Zara Home posted revenue of €27.8 billion, up 6.6% year on year. According to its annual report, Zara Home operated 391 stores worldwide at the end of the financial year, including three locations featuring the “El Apartamento” concept, underscoring the brand’s strength and international expansion.
