Campus Activewear reported a 19 percent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 25 crore ($3 million) for the April-June quarter, as against Rs 31 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The company’s revenue was down 4 percent to Rs 339 crore, as against Rs 353 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Commenting on the results, Nikhil Agarwal, CEO of Campus Activewear in a statement said, “Campus Activewear registered 4.1 % degrowth year-on-year to Rs 339 crore in Q1 FY25 driven by muted demand scenario, witnessed across the rural and semiurban areas. The company continued its focus on driving reach & enhancing its retail footprint in new geographies.”
“During the quarter, the company added 13 new stores and continued to expand its geographical footprints in FY25,” he added.
Campus Activewear is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of footwear and accessories through its retail and wholesale network.
