Tasva launches wedding collection ‘Baaraat’ with fashion show featuring Ranbir Kapoor

Tasva, a designer Indian wear brand by Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Ltd and designer Tarun Tahiliani hosted a fashion show to showcase its autumn/winter 2024 wedding collection ‘Baaraat’ at the Travancore Palace, New Delhi.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor walked the ramp for the brand at the finale as the showstopper. Celebrities Vihaan Samat, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Suvir Saran along with digital influencers, Mohak Narang, Manav Chhabra, Unnati Malharkar, and Apoorva also participated in the fashion show.

The collection features an exquisite array of wedding wear designed for the modern Indian groom that includes silhouettes like the angrakha sherwani, tailored dinner jackets, and asymmetrical designs.

Commenting on the collection, Ranbir Kapoor in a statement said, “Stepping onto the runway in the Baaraat collection was an exhilarating experience, celebrating the fusion of tradition and modern flair! Today’s grooms are more than just part of the ceremony; they are the heart of the story. This collection gave them the opportunity to express their individuality while honouring their roots.”
