Eyewear and eye care business Lenskart has collaborated with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch a new line of Harry Potter eyeglasses. The new men’s and women’s line is designed to engage fans of the fictional franchise.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products to bring this magical collection to our customers,” said Lenskart’s co-founder Ramneek Khurana in a press release. “We believe that these glasses are more than just a fashion statement- they are a way for fans to express their love for the world of Harry Potter and carry a piece of that magic with them every day.”
Frames in the new collection are inspired by the four different ‘houses’ in the Hogwarts school, into which its students are sorted. Other emblems from the Harry Potter book and film series including the ‘Deathly Hallows’ symbol and ‘Elder Wand’ are etched into frames’ temple tips and as a temple motif respectively.
The Hogwarts school crest can also be found on the nose pads of glasses in the line. By adding subtle emblems and designs, Lenskart has designed the eyeglasses for everyday use. The Harry Potter collection has launched across Lenskart’s brick-and-mortar stores and on its direct to customer e-commerce store.
