Fashion and lifestyle brand Jaypore has entered the brick-and-mortar market in Northeast India and launched a store in Guwahati. Located on the city’s GS Road, the outlet retails a mix of clothing, jewellery, and homeware goods.
“Explore a stunning range of artisanal apparel, home décor, and jewellery, all crafted by skilled artisans from across India,” said Jaypore in a statement, India Retailing reported. “Come visit and experience the beautiful blend of tradition and contemporary design!”
The store is designed to highlight traditional Indian craftsmanship, mixed with a contemporary aesthetic. Ethnic inspired jewellery, cotton kurta sets, and home textiles featuring traditional floral and geometrical motifs are displayed in a bright space with decorations giving a nod to how and where the products were made. The store launched with a selection of products for the upcoming festive season as well as brand staples.
Debuting offline in Northeast India is a significant step for Jaypore, according to the brand. By entering this new market, the label continues its pan-India expansion and drive to connect with new customer demographics. Jaypore has launched a number of new brick-and-mortar stores so far this year including in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram and also retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store.
