Fashion and silver jewellery business Kushal’s aims to reach a store total of 300 in India in the coming three years by opening between 30 and 35 brick-and-mortar stores each year. The Bengaluru-based business is also eyeing 50% growth in its turnover in the 2025 financial year.
“Our recent expansion into the Northern market has received a positive response,” Kushal’s Fashion Jewellery’s director Manish Gulechha told India Retailing. “As we continue to grow, we plan to focus more on the Northern and Western regions in the coming years, with a particular focus on expanding in Maharashtra and Delhi NCR.”
The 2024 financial year saw Kushal’s turnover increase by 40% year-on-year to total Rs 300 crore. This fiscal, the business aims for 50% growth, fuelled by its retail expansion plan as well as its recently launched silver jewellery category.
The Gulechha family launched Kushal’s Fashion Jewellery in 2006 to offer an affordable way to dress in classic jewellery styles for weddings, occasions, and everyday. The business currently has stores in more than 30 Indian cities including Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune, Guwahati, and Chandigarh, according to its Facebook page. Kushal’s also retails online through its direct to customer e-commerce store as well as on multi-brand platforms including Myntra and Ajio.
