Dollar Industries Limited has signed actor Mahesh Babu as its brand ambassador for South India as it looks to expand its presence in the region.
As part of its expansion strategy in south, Dollar plans to open 50 exclusive brand outlets over the next three years.
With this expansion and association with actor Mahesh Babu, Dollar Industries is targeting around 50 percent growth in sales from southern market as compared to current year.
Commenting on the expansion, Vinod Kumar Gupta, managing director at Dollar in a statement said, “With Mahesh Babu now being our brand ambassador for southern market, it will act as a catalyst to boost our brand prominence and sales even more. We are extremely bullish and targeting to garner around 20% of our domestic revenue from south market.”
Binay Kumar Gupta, joint managing director at Dollar added, “Dollar Industries is experiencing robust demand and an increasing proportion of higher-margin products in our portfolio. We also have plans to open 50 exclusive brand outlets across the south market in the coming 3 years where consumers can experience the entire range of Dollar products.”
