Lingerie and lounge wear brand Clovia has expanded its sleepwear collection and partnered with cartoon character Garfield. The new, collaborative night wear line has gone live on Clovia’s direct to customer e-commerce store.
“All his personalities say ‘hi’,” announced Clovia on Facebook, launching the collection on July 10. “Clovia just launched the quirkiest Garfield-themed nightwear to add a quirky touch to your sleep-drobe. Be ready to explore Mr. grumpy-themed nightwear galore!”
The sleepwear line features 100% cotton t-shirts and pyjama pants with playful graphics featuring Garfield and his cartoon friend dog. The collection has a youthful aesthetic and features oversized, comfort driven designs. The collection’s accompanying campaign features a model relaxing, drinking tea, and eating pizza to mirror Garfield’s own whimsical nature.
Clovia is also continuing to expand its brick-and-mortar presence across India. In May this year, the brand launched new stores at Chandigarh’s Cosmo Mall at Zirakpur, Gulbarga’s Orchid Mall, Hubli’s Marvel Artiza, and Ranchi’s Homah Towar, Clovia announced on Facebook.
Clovia was founded by husband and wife entrepreneurs Neha Kant and Pankaj Vermani in 2012 with Purple Panda Fashion Limited as its parent company, The Financial Express reported. Reliance Retail later acquired an 89% stake in Purple Panda Fashion Limited in a deal valued at around Rs 950 crore.
