Fine jewellery brand CaratLane has opened a store in Mumbai’s Phoenix Palladium Mall to launch its new retail design format. Instead of the brand’s previous signature colour way of white and purple, the 500 square foot outlet has a new brand colour scheme of soft pink and white.
“We are updating the design elements in our stores with a new age format,” said CaratLane – a Tanishq Partnership’s national head for business development Deepika Khare, India Retailing reported. “Our recent store at Phoenix Palladium features a chic design, incorporating elements such as fluted panels, marble flooring, an abundance of rose gold accents, and a luminous LED façade.”
The store is located by the entrance to the mall and joins jewellery brands including Zoya, Tanishq, and Malabar Gold and Diamonds in the shopping centre, according to its Facebook page. Along with its new design features, the boutique houses CaratLane’s latest jewellery collections for both occasion and everyday wear.
Following the store launch, CaratLane now counts over 21 stores in the Mumbai metro area. “Experiencing rapid growth, we currently boast a retail footprint of over 270 stores nationwide,” said Khare.
CaratLane is based in Chennai and was launched by entrepreneurs Mithun Sacheti and Srinivasa Gopalan in 2008 as an online business. Tata Group has invested in the business through its subsidiary Titan Company Limited since 2016 and now holds a 99.64% equity stake in the business.
