Tata Group fine jewellery brand Tanishq has entered the brick-and-mortar retail market in Oman to connect with both non-resident Indian and local shoppers. The exclusive brand outlet is located in Oman Avenues Mall in Muscat.
“Tanishq marked their official entry in Oman with their first ever store opening with Oman Avenues Mall, Muscat,” announced Lulu Group International’s head of retail design and delivery Amol Jungari, on Linkedin. “Elegant and sophisticated approach in the design definitely standing out from the rest. It was indeed pleasure working with team Tanishq and their local partner to achieve this masterpiece.”
The store is situated on a corner plot in the mall and its large glass walls showcase the glittering gold jewellery within. Inside the store, seating areas are designed to offer comfortable stations for jewellery consultations with the store’s staff.
A segment dedicated to Tanishq’s ‘Rivaah’ wedding jewellery brand features statement gold necklaces and other heavy weight, traditional designs. Lightweight and everyday jewellery pieces in modern, fusion styles are also available in the store.
Oman Avenues Mall launched in May 2015 and is one of Oman’s largest sized shopping centres. The mall is owned by Lulu Group International which us based in Abu Dhabi and also runs malls in India in locations including Thiruvananthapuram, Lucknow, and Kochi, according to its website.
