Swiss luxury watch business Omega has relaunched its Jubilee Hills store in Hyderabad with an all new design. The exclusive brand outlet houses 703 square feet of the brand’s timepiece collections with open spaces and a modern design.
Omega’s new design concept for its Hyderabad location is designed to elevate the in-store customer experience, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. Describing it as a significant milestone in its India retail journey, Omega’s relaunched store features furniture, lighting, and design accents which are intended to create an inviting atmosphere which echoes its refined watchmaking history.
The store now has a dedicated lounge area where shoppers are invited to sit, drink a coffee, and utilise the in-built library to learn about Omega’s brand history, stretching back over 170 years. The store is also currently highlighting its ‘Constellation Meteorite’ watch collection which is inspired by the movement of stars and includes watch dials crafted from Muonionalusta meteorite.
Omega SA was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland in 1848 and is today based in Biel/ Bienne. The business was previously named ‘La Generale Watch Co’ and adopted the name ‘Omega’ in 1903 when it officially became ‘Louis Brandt et Frère-Omega Watch & Co’. The brand is currently owned by The Swatch Group and retails across the globe.
