Sportswear and sports gear business Decathlon has expanded its children’s product offering in the Indian market with the launch of the ‘RunRide 100.’ The lightweight balance bike is designed for young riders to encourage healthy living.
“As part of Decathlon’s long-standing commitment to fostering community and making sports accessible to everyone, the RunRide 100 reinforces the brand’s belief in inspiring everyone to embrace a lifelong love of activity,” said Decathlon Sports India’s mobility ecosystem leader Raghu Rao, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “This bike not only makes learning to ride fun and intuitive for kids but also aligns with our brand’s goal of encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle from a young age.”
The launch is part of Decathlon’s efforts to promote sports and healthy living to Indian families. The RunRide 100 is designed to help young children to build confidence and physical coordination while getting them excited about the world of cycling. Priced at Rs 3,999, the bike retails from select Decathlon sales points.
“This product offers children a fantastic opportunity to develop both physical and cognitive skills, all while enjoying the adventure of movement, exploration, and autonomy,” said Decathlon Sports India’s cycling leader Prajval Ray.
