British soap brand The English Soap Company has launched in the Indian market exclusively on Reliance Retail’s multi-brand beauty platform Tira to bring its UK-made products to shoppers across the country.
“Need a vacation? Same,” announced Tira on Facebook. “The English Soap Company is now available to shop on Tira. Just one whiff of their soaps and creams will take you to the Sussex countryside. Head to the link in bio to add this new launch to your cart.”
The brand has launched bar soaps including magnolia and pear, bergamot and ginger, lavender and rosemary, and bluebell and jasmine among others on Tira’s e-commerce store, priced from Rs 399. The English Soap Company has also launched a range of moisturising hand creams from Rs 699 and hand washes priced at Rs 999 on Tira.
Oliver Butts launched The English Soap Company in the UK with the aim of becoming “the English Soap Company, not an English soap company,” Butts told Silverback. “We want to have that same kind of loyalty by being perceived as an honest English brand with good quality products,” said the entrepreneur.
Tira was founded by Reliance Retail in April 2023. The business retails an array of Indian and international beauty and personal care brands on its e-commerce store and brick-and-mortar outlets across India in cities including Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru.
