Multi-brand sneaker retailer Limited Edt has brought the international footwear collaboration between designer Mark Ong (Mr Sabotage) and sportswear brand Asics named ‘Monsoon Patrol’ to India for the first time.
Limited Edt will launch the collection in its India store and country specific website from mid-June to early July, the business announced in a press release. Designed specifically to withstand wet weather conditions in tropical climates, the collection features a futuristic construction and military style details.
For its summer launch, Limited Edt will debut two new iterations of the ‘Gel-Kayano 14’ sneaker model in cream and black colour ways. The shoes feature a detachable shroud with hidden storage, translucent silicone coating, and the Asics logo on the side.
The sneaker line is accompanied by a collaborative capsule apparel collection by Graye. The line has black and cement colour ways of a tech blazer, a tech nylon shirt, and tech trousers, designed to be worn as a three piece set with features to resist monsoon downpours. The collection is completed with a translucent storage crate.
Limited Edt describes itself as Singapore’s premier sneaker boutique and has operated in the country for over two decades. Founded by Mandeep Chopra, the business currently runs 15 stores in Singapore and launched its wider Asian market expansion by debuting in India where it operates a brick-and-mortar store and e-commerce site.
