Turkish brand Konfor launches in India

Turkish furniture and lifestyle brand Konfor has launched in the Indian market and will retail in the country from October 4. The brand has partnered with Pune-based retail business Creaticity for its India launch and its products will be available in Creaticity Mall.

“The wait is almost over,” announced Konfor India on its new Facebook page on October 3. “In just one day, experience the elegance of Konfor- Turkey’s celebrated furniture brand, making its exclusive India debut at Creaticity. We’re proud to bring you affordable premium designs and exquisite craftsmanship. Mark your calendars, and be part of this monumental launch!”
 
The first store launch to result from the partnership between Konfor and Creaticity is a 12,000 square foot store in Creaticity Mall Yerawada in Pune, India Retailing reported. The store will house a wide range of Turkish-inspired products for the home which are manufactured in Turkey and imported into India.
 
“Konfor has the unique strength of being both a manufacturer and a retailer,” Creaticity’s CEO Mahesh M told India Retailing. “They have arguably one of the largest manufacturing facilities, spread across 6 lakh square feet in the city of Izmir, renowned for high-quality furniture manufacturing, making a wide variety of furniture from panel furniture to upholstery to dining to mattresses.”
 
Konfor launched in Turkey in 1978. The business today counts 148 stores in 33 countries worldwide.
