The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council has launched an India Pavilion at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, US. The trade show runs from May 31 to June 3 and the GJEPC is showcasing a range of Indian fine jewellery brands to North American buyers.
The India Pavilion at The Venetian Expo is located on Level One of the trade show venue of the same name, the GJEPC announced on Facebook. “Witness the brilliance of design innovation and Indian jewellery manufacturing coming alive at India Design Gallery,” wrote the GJEPC. The pavilion is designed to highlight the craftsmanship of India made jewellery and to promote India as a global hub for jewellery manufacturing.
“Grab this opportunity to connect with the Indian top jewellery manufacturers shaping the future of jewellery design,”
announced the GJEPC on Facebook. “Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the
talented Indian jewellery manufacturers whose creative brilliance is
captivating the globe.”
The US sources approximately 18% of its jewellery from Indian manufacturers, according to the GJEPC. The country is one of the top markets for Indian jewellers and thus represents a significant opportunity for growth. The GJEPC works to boost Indian jewellery exports across the world and recently sent a delegation to several South American countries to pursue deeper trade links with jewellery buyers in the region.
