International fashion and retail business Apparel Group’s India arm has recently brought a range of global brands to India’s Tier 2 cities as demand for branded goods rises in non-metro locations. The business has just launched its first Aldo accessories store in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
“We are excited to present the opening of Aldo’s latest store at Mall of Dehradun,” announced Apparel Group India on Facebook, sharing photos of the new store. “This is the brand’s second store in Dehradun and the 68th store in India.”
Apparel Group India has also recently opened a Beverly Hills Polo Club clothing store and a Bath & Body Works personal care store in Mall of Dehradun. While the former retails polo inspired western wear for men and women, the latter houses a selection of body care, fragrance, and personal care goods as well as scented candles.
“We’re committed to expanding our presence in Tier 2 cities, capitalising on the growing market and increasing brand awareness,” said Apparel Group India’s CEO Abhishek Bajpai, India Retailing reported. “Our focus is on delivering exceptional shopping experiences and building lasting relationships with customers in these regions.”
In Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, Apparel Group India has recently opened stores for the labels Beverly Hills Polo Club, Bath & Body Works, and R&B in the city’s Swagat Holiday Mall. The mall is located in Gandhinagar’s Sargasan neighbourhood and caters to shoppers in both Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, according to its operator Swagat Group’s website.
