Gap opens new store in Pune’s Amanora Mall

US based apparel brand Gap has launched its new brick-and-mortar store in Pune’s Amanora Mall to retail a wide range of western casual wear and accessories for the whole family.

“The wait is over – We are thrilled to announce that Gap, Reliance Retail is now open at Amanora Mall,” announced the shopping centre in a post on Linkedin. “Come discover the latest fashion trends with Gap, Amanora Mall.”
 
The store has dedicated segments for men, women, and children and highlights Gap’s signature denim collection featuring jeans and denim jackets among other goods. With a bright, white interior and matching white floor, the store has a modern, classic feel.
 
Technology also features in the store with large digital screens showcasing Gap’s latest collections and campaigns. The brand joins labels including H&M, Only, and Marks & Spencer in the shopping centre.
 
Gap retails in India with Reliance Retail, which operates its offline outlets in the country along with its e-commerce store. As the retail arm of Reliance Industries Limited, Reliance Retail counts over 18,700 stores.
 
Amanora Mall is located on Pune’s Hadapsar- Kharadi Bypass and was developed by real estate firm City Corporation Limited, according to its website. The shopping centre spans 1.2 million square feet and houses over 1,000 Indian and international brands as well as dining and entertainment facilities.
