Ethnic wear retailer Vedant Fashions Ltd reported a 37 percent surge in net profit to Rs 67 crore ($8 million) for the third quarter ended September 30, as against Rs 49 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 23 percent to Rs 268 crore, as against Rs 218 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s total expenses during the quarter were down by 17 percent year-on-year to Rs 197 crore.
For the first of half of financial year 2025, Vedant Fashions net profit stood at Rs 129 crore while its revenue was Rs 507 crore.
During the quarter, the company launched a new festive and celebration wear focused brand Diwas. It also onboarded actor Janhvi Kapoor as the brand ambassador for its women’s wear brand ‘Mohey’.
Going forward, Vedant Fashions plans to expand its retail presence and expects strong growth in the coming quarters due to the ongoing festive and wedding season.
Vedant Fashions is engaged in manufacturing and retailing of readymade ethnic wear for men, women and kids under the brand names Manyavar, Mohey, Mebaz, Twamev, and Manthan.
