Watch brand G-Shock has expanded its product offering in India and launched its new ‘GM-2110D’ series to bolster its ‘G-Steel’ watch collection. Manufactured to mix functionality with design, the GM-2110D series is G-Shock’s slimmest dual-display model made to date.
“This latest addition reimagines the octagonal concept of the legendary DW-5000, G-Shock’s original masterpiece, and draws inspiration from the brand’s first analog model, the AW-500,” announced the brand in a press release. “The GM-2110D collection elevates these iconic elements with an entirely stainless-steel construction, delivering a refined wrist look with textural appeal.”
The GM-2110D collection features a polished metal bezel and strap, has an approximate battery life of three years, and features world time across 31 time zones. Priced at Rs 21,995, watches in the collection are available across Casio and G-Shock’s India exclusive brand outlets as well as online.
By launching the new design in India, G-Shock demonstrates its growing focus on the market. G-Shock opened its first exclusive brand outlet in New Delhi earlier in the year and named Bollywood celebrity Vicky Kaushal as its brand ambassador for the country at the end of 2023.
Officially launched in 1983 following two years of development, G-Shock recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. The brand was established by Kikuo Ibe with the idea that a watch should be able to withstand harsh shocks and the brand has sold over 100 million watches across 100 nations worldwide.
