Jordan Klepper Spots Key Warning Sign For Trump At His Rallies

“The Daily Show” correspondent Jordan Klepper, who has attended dozens of Donald Trump’s rallies over the years, said he’s seen a key difference at the former president’s most recent events.

“Quite frankly, what we’ve noticed, is there’s less of an energy there,” he told MSNBC’s Jen Psaki on Sunday. “There’s not as many people showing up. It feels tired.”

He said there are still plenty of MAGA faithful turning out ― including Trump megafans who go to as many rallies as they can ― but there’s definitely been a shift in the vibe.

“It feels like the circus has been around to your town many, many times, and not everybody is showing up for this last go ’round,” he said.

Other have also noticed, including former President Barack Obama, who trolled Trump over it at an event in Michigan last week.

“I heard there was another rally here on Friday night,” Obama said at an event for Vice President Kamala Harris at Detroit’s Huntington Place, where Trump spoke a few days prior. “But it was a little smaller than this one.”

Harris took at shot at Trump’s diminishing crowds during their debate in September as she pointed out that his audience was growing bored and leaving while he was still speaking.

That seemed to strike a nerve.

It not only sidetracked Trump at the debate, he’s also brought it up multiple times since, even as footage confirms that his arenas haven’t been as full and people are leaving while he’s still on the stage.

Klepper’s latest special airs Monday night on Comedy Central.
