
The true crime limited series dramatizes the conviction of Knox (played by Grace Van Patten) — the American college student who was accused of murdering her roommate, Meredith Kercher, in 2007 while studying abroad in Italy — and her 16-year fight to prove her innocence.
Knox serves as an executive producer on the eight-part series alongside Monica Lewinsky and creator KJ Steinberg. The cast includes Sharon Horgan, John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico and Roberta Mattei.
The first two episodes premiered on Aug. 20, to be followed by weekly drops on Wednesdays.

A new political thriller is the No. 1 show on Netflix right now. In “Hostage,” a kidnapping, blackmail and a dark conspiracy force the British prime minister (Suranne Jones) and the French president (Julie Delpy) to join forces against a common enemy.
The five-episode series also stars Corey Mylchreest, Ashley Thomas, Lucian Msamati, James Cosmo, Jehnny Beth and Isobel Akuwudike.
“Peacemaker” is currently the top show on HBO Max following its Season 2 premiere. The DC Universe series, which returned on Aug. 21, is a spinoff of 2021′s “The Suicide Squad” film, in which John Cena reprises his role as the eponymous flawed hero.
The cast includes returning stars Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Robert Patrick and Dee Bradley Baker. Meanwhile, Tim Meadows, Frank Grillo, Sol Rodriguez, Michael Rooker and David Denman join as new faces on the show.
New episodes premiere on HBO Max on Thursdays.
