Veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, or as he was called, the ‘angry young man’ of his generation, has often been seen sharing anecdotes from his on and off-screen life. Recently, he shared a BTS tale from the sets of ‘Ganga Ki Saugand,’ wherein he confessed to being petrified when asked to ride a horse. In addition to his film, Amitabh Bachchan is loved for hosting the quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crore Pati.’ A promo of the same was shared on Wednesday, where Big B was seen sharing an anecdote from his 1978 movie ‘Ganga Ki Saugand.’
The ‘Kalki’ star shared that he was scared when asked to ride a horse to cross the river Ganga during the shoot. In his nervousness, he started singing Ganga arti and kicked the horse. “There was a scene, which was shot in Rishikesh. Our director said, ‘You will sit on a horse and ride over that bridge’. And, I saw the Ganga River down there, and immediately started singing aarti for the river. While singing, I kicked the horse. It ran and crossed the bridge. I was saved,” said Amitabh Bachchan.

This isn’t the first time Amitabh Bachchan shared a page from his life diary. During one of the episodes from the same game show, when a contestant shared with Big B that she was made to dress up like a Pandit for a school function, Amitabh Bachchan shared an anecdote from his childhood that left everyone in splits.The actor revealed, “Main jab nursery mein tha, mujhe murgi ka bachha banaya tha. I was made to dress up wearing wings and all…” he recalled, leaving the audience in splits.”

Big B was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Vettaiyan,’ which received mixed reviews. Next, he will be seen in ‘Kalki 2.’ According to a Mid-day report, the actor will reprise the role of Ashwatthama, and is expected to have more screen time.
