“I’m gonna help you out,” he offered on Monday night as he tried to give the former president some pointers on how to focus on the issues.
But he didn’t get very far, showing clip after clip of Trump bragging about his crowd size.
“OK, OK, that’s one of those mom-and-pop issues for the single-issue crowd-size voter,” he cracked, then moved on to other clips.
But even in those, Trump bragged about his crowds, complained about the media coverage of his crowds, and falsely claimed that Harris was using artificial intelligence to fake the massive crowds that have been turning up at her events.
“Oh my fucking God,” Stewart said, then mockingly offered up a head-spinning defense of Trump’s AI claim.
“For those of you at home who are saying, like, ‘Oh, it sounds like he’s losing his fucking mind,’ just because there’s video and photographic evidence that Kamala Harris’ crowd was real doesn’t mean that it was real,” he said. “And then you might say, ‘Oh, well, Jon, I was actually there, I was in the crowd.’ And have you considered you’re not real? Have you considered that?”
And that’s not even the strangest claim Trump has made.
