The Return of Bulldog & Gil in the Frasier Revival
Dan Butler’s character of Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe hosted a sports show on the same radio station as Frasier, KCAL, and his brash attitude often put him at odds with Frasier and most of the other characters. Edward Hibbert’s Gil played the delicate Gil Chesterson, who hosted a restaurant review show at the station. Butler has also appeared in The Silence of the Lambs and The Mist TV miniseries, while Hibbert’s credits include The Prestige, The First Wives Club, and a number of voice-over roles.
