What Lex Luthor’s Victory Over Superman Sets Up For Season 2

Luthor’s Victory Teases Difficulties For Superman In The Future

Concerning why Luthor’s victory is important, it sets up a season of trouble for Clark. As of My Adventures with Superman season 2, episode 4’s ending, Clark is left in a difficult spot. Not only does he have to reckon with the continued exploits of Task Force X, but the group is now receiving much more support from the likes of S.T.A.R. Labs and even the U.S. government. Lex’s campaign against Superman saw these organizations pledge their support to him and Waller, providing Task Force X with more resources.

Lex now has much more power than he once had. Instead of being a boy with vengeful thoughts against Superman, he is transitioning into the powerful villain who has endless resources at his disposal to go against the Kryptonian. This can only mean bad news for Clark going forward, as he undoubtedly faces more battles against his nemesis Lex Luthor after losing the first in My Adventures with Superman season 2, episode 4.
