Hulu is keeping things interesting during the shortest month of the year with some buzzy new releases.
The most anticipated is the return of “Paradise,” the post-apocalyptic thriller starring Sterling K. Brown. The hit series ventures beyond the bunker in the second season, which welcomes new faces like Shailene Woodley and Thomas Doherty.
Another major title debuting on the streamer in February: an FX limited series about the tragic love story of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.

Here’s what’s new and streaming on Hulu in February:
“The Artful Dodger” is back, and he’s in serious peril. The 1850s-set Hulu series, inspired by the characters from “Oliver Twist,” follows an adult Jack Dawkins (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) as he attempts to trade a life of crime for a career as a surgeon, only to be pulled back.
Jack returns in Season 2, and now he’s being hunted by Port Victory’s new lawman, Inspector Henry Boxer (Luke Bracey). If that’s not enough, Jack is in danger of being hanged if he sees the woman he loves, Lady Belle Fox (Maia Mitchell). Meanwhile, “Lady Belle is determined to forge her future in medicine, defying expectation and stepping into danger, driven by ambition and a love already hanging in the balance,” the synopsis reads. “With Boxer competing with Jack for Belle’s affection, the crafty Fagin drags Dodger into their most dangerous heist yet, and a killer is on the loose.”
Also starring in Season 2 are David Thewlis, Susie Porter, Damien Garvey, Tim Minchin, Lucy-Rose Leonard, Nicholas Burton, Kim Gyngell, Luke Carroll, Vivienne Awosoga, Aljin Abella, Brigid Zengeni, Albert Latailakepa, Jeremy Sims and Zac Burgess.
‘Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette’
One of the nation’s most high-profile and tragic romances is now the subject of FX’s “Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette.” The nine-episode limited series revolves around the titular couple’s complicated public relationship, from their whirlwind courtship and marriage to the media scrutiny that nearly tore them apart. Per the synopsis, the show “charts the complex and heartbreaking journey of a couple whose private love became a national obsession.”
Paul Anthony Kelly and Sarah Pidgeon portray Kennedy Jr. and Bessette, respectively. The cast also includes Grace Gummer, Naomi Watts, Alessandro Nivola, Leila George, Sydney Lemmon and Constance Zimmer.
“Paradise” returns this month for Season 2, but this time, the action isn’t staying inside the bunker. The series left off with a slight cliffhanger after revealing the mass extinction event that nearly wiped out all of humanity — except Xavier’s (Sterling K. Brown) long-lost wife, Teri. After learning that she may still be alive, the Secret Service agent goes on the hunt. Along the way, he finds out how others have survived the three years since “The Day.”
Joining Season 2 as recurring guest stars are Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty and Jon Beavers. The cast also includes James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans.
‘Scrubs’ Reboot
Get ready to scrub back in for this TV revival. “Scrubs,” the beloved medical sitcom starring Zach Braff and Donald Faison, is returning after the show wrapped up in 2010 following nine seasons. The forthcoming installment is reportedly designed to stand on its own but will, of course, pay homage to the original series’ run with a new generation of interns.
In addition to Braff and Faison, the reboot includes returning stars Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes, John C. McGinley, Robert Maschio and Phill Lewis. Meanwhile, Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi and Amanda Morrow join as new faces on the show.
