“The Watchers” is currently the most popular movie on Max, according to the platform’s public ranking system.
The supernatural horror film is the directorial debut of Ishana Night Shyamalan, daughter of M. Night Shyamalan, who also produced the movie. Based on A.M. Shine’s 2021 novel, “The Watchers” stars Dakota Fanning as an American woman working in Ireland, where she becomes trapped in a vast forest haunted by mysterious creatures.
A critical and commercial flop, the movie joined the streaming service on Aug. 30 after debuting in theaters on June 7 to mostly negative reviews.

Directed by Lee Daniels, “The Deliverance” premiered in theaters on Aug. 16 and joined the streaming service on Aug. 30. Andra Day stars as a single mother with a dark past struggling to support her family, while Glenn Close plays her mother. “The Deliverance” also features Mo’Nique, Caleb McLaughlin and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor.
“Kinds of Kindness” is currently the most popular movie on Hulu after joining the platform on Aug. 30. Directed and co-written by Yorgos Lanthimos, the absurdist anthology film premiered in May at the Cannes Film Festival.
The cast features Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie and Hunter Schafer.
Pumpkin spice lattes are officially back on the market, so it’s only natural the fall Peanuts classic “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” is trending on Apple TV+ again.
The 1966 American animated television special centers around the children of the Peanuts comic and how they celebrate Halloween ― with Linus notably sitting in the pumpkin patch to await the mythical Great Pumpkin.

“A Quiet Place: Day One” is available to stream on Paramount+. The apocalyptic horror film is both a spin-off and prequel in the “A Quiet Place” franchise.
Released in theaters on June 28, the movie stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou.
