Actor and politician, Govinda, known for his high-energy performances and vibrant presence on-screen, made headlines on Tuesday, when news broke that he accidentally shot himself in the leg. In the early hours of the morning, around 4:45 am, Govinda was reportedly preparing for a trip to Kolkata when attempting to store his licensed revolver back in a cupboard, the firearm slipped from his hand, and accidentally discharged a round, hitting him in the leg. The actor’s manager told ANI that he was rushed to the hospital where doctors removed the bullet, and he is now in stable condition.
