Barry Williams Claims ‘Brady Bunch’ Co-Stars ‘All Hooked Up With Each Other’

Barry Williams is spilling tea about the real-life hook ups between his “Brady Bunch” co-stars.

“We all hooked up with each other at some point,” the actor, 69, told Us Weekly. “Not necessarily while we were filming.”

Williams starred as the eldest of the Brady sons, Greg Brady, on the ABC sitcom that aired from 1969 to 1974.

“I dated Maureen [McCormick], and Chris [Knight] dated Eve [Plum], and Michael [Lookinland] and Susan [Olsen] had a little mock wedding at one point. So, yes, we all hooked up,” he added in the story that was published Thursday.

McCormick played Marsha, the eldest daughter, Knight and Plum starred as Peter and Jan, the two middle children, while Lookinland and Olsen played Bobby and Cindy, the two youngest of the famous fictional family.

Williams clarified that aside from the sibling flings, he had his eyes set on his TV mom, the late Florence Henderson, who played Carol Brady.

“I had a teenage crush on her, for sure,” he explained. “And she’s got a very lively personality and great sense of humor, but I knew that I wanted to have music in my career [in] acting, and so I talked to her a lot about that.”

Williams went on to share that he once took Henderson on a pseudo date, which he says elicited stares from people due to their iconic mom and son dynamic on-screen.

“I had found this singer coming into the Copacabana near Beverly Hills,” he continued. “I can’t think of exactly where it was, but I invited her to go together as a date, and she said, ‘OK,’ so I was thrilled. And now for me, it was a date.”

“We were recognized, and so people were whispering about us, which is strange, but we talked about the singer, his orchestrations, the band that he had, and what touring was like,” Williams added.

Williams then recalled how he wrapped up his evening out with Henderson by planting a “little kiss” on her, calling it the “highlight” of the night.

“And she gave me an idea what that life would look like now at the end of the date. And this is chronicled in my book as well. I did go in for a little kiss, and she was nice enough to return it. So it was a highlight. Nice little peck, yes.”

Williams previously discussed his date with Florence in his 1992 autobiography, “Growing Up Brady: I Was A Teenage Greg.”

Henderson addressed Williams’ comments about their date in the FAQ page of her website.

“That whole thing with Barry got blown way out of proportion. I guess in a sense it was a date, because Barry thought it was. But of course, I had no idea that his intentions were to ‘date’ me. It has made for a good story though!” she said.
