Actress Richa Chadha who is currently enjoying the success of her recently released series of ‘Heeramandi’ helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is due to deliver in July.
Now, as per the latest report by Hindustan Times, Richa has planned out her maternity leave and when she aims to resume work by October. Chadha also revealed that the first film she would shoot after delivery is a musical romantic comedy that will feature 18 songs.She mentioned that they plan to commence shooting in the second week of October in a hill station located in Himachal Pradesh.
The actress explained that they require the autumn season and the Himachal skyline just before winter for their shoot. The film revolves around a musical band in a small hill town and is described as a love story with elements of a family film, showcasing various dynamics. She added that they are currently in the pre-production stage, and the work is ongoing without any interruptions.
When asked if Fazal also plans to take paternity leave after their child’s birth, the 37-year-old responded by saying, “You’ll have to ask him about that, but he is very hands-on and is timing his work commitments accordingly. I believe fathers should always be around. It’s not just about assisting the mother but also about spending time with the child.”
Recently, Richa expressed gratitude for Rekha’s blessings, noting that the interaction occurred before Rekha realized she was expecting. She recounted how Rekha noticed her baby bump when they took a photo together. Richa emphasized her appreciation for Rekha’s legendary status and the blessings she received.
