Preity Zinta wraps up shooting for ‘Lahore 1947’, thanks Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi: ‘Toughest film I’ve worked on’ – WATCH video | Hindi Movie News

Preity Zinta has made her comeback to the movies after many years with ‘Lahore 1947‘. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and co-stars Sunny Deol with Preity. The actress had been shooting for it for the last few days and she took to social media to announce that she’s wrapped up her part. The actress shared a reel which is a montage of all the memories on the film.She also penned a note thanking the entire team while describing her experience.
Preity wrote, “It’s a wrap on Lahore 1947 & I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire cast n crew for such an incredible experience 🙏❤️🙏 I sincerely hope all of you appreciate & enjoy this film as much as we did making it. It’s definitely the toughest film I have worked on. Full marks to everyone for all their hard work & patience during the last couple of months. Thank you Raj ji, Aamir, Sunny, Shabanaji , Santosh Sivan & AR Rehman from the bottom of my heart. Loads of love always 😍❤️😍”

‘Lahore 1947’ also stars Shabana Azmi, Sunny son, Karan Deol and is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Recently, Preity was at the Cannes Film festival and she spoke about taking a break from movies to concentrate on her family and children. She had said during a chat with DD India, “I didn’t want to do a film. I was focusing on business, I wanted to focus on my personal life. People forget that for women, as actors, your craft is important, you want a body of work, but you have a biological clock. I’ve never dated anyone in the industry. I’ve never dated an actor. So the logical thing was I also needed to have my own family. I wanted to have children. I really don’t want to be an accomplished actor and a lonely person.”
