Earlier this week, cast members Emil Wakim and Devon Walker announced they wouldn’t be returning for the 51st season of NBC’s long-running variety show.
On Thursday, the list of canned cast members grew by one more when a news report revealed Michael Longfellow wouldn’t be returning, either.
Longfellow spent three seasons on the show, making his biggest impressions on the “Weekend Update” desk with his takes on TikTok and Real ID.
Unlike Wakim and Walker, Longfellow has yet to publicly comment on his departure. HuffPost reached out to him, but no one immediately responded.
Insiders expect that more cuts to “SNL” cast ― as well as new cast members ― will be announced shortly.
The show returns for its Season 51 premiere Oct. 4.
