NEW DELHI: Chinese electronics and TV major Hisense has appointed top electronics industry exec Pankaj Rana to lead its local operations as CEO.
Rana has previously worked at LG India, Panasonic, Benq, and Reliance Retail.
As CEO of Hisense India, he will lead the company’s strategic initiatives, focusing on expanding the customer base, strengthening brand presence, and driving overall business growth, the company said.
Steven Li, MD of Hisense India, said Rana’s industry knowledge will help fuel the company’s business and sales expansion in the country.
Rana said Hisense will strengthen its focus on products and services to maintain its market position in India.
Hisense is one of the world’s leading TV manufacturers and is present in over 160 markets, including Australia, the US, Japan, Mexico, and South Africa. It has 14 manufacturing facilities located in countries like South Africa, Slovenia, Serbia, Mexico, and Czech Republic.
