N Chandrababu Naidu took oath for the fourth time as the CM of Andhra Pradesh, and this day came after a long wait of five years.As he moved away from dias towards PM Modi, he shook hands with PM Modi who presented him with a bouquet. And what followed was a long hug, pat on the back as Naidu turned emotional.
Meanwhile the crowd countinued to chant his name.
It was just few years back, in 2021, when Naidu broke down at a press conference, accusing YSR Congress MLAs of making inappropriate and personal comments about his wife, and vowed to return to Andhra assembly as a CM.
“This is a dharma poratam (just battle) against the atrocious rule of the YSRC. I will go to the people and seek their support. If people co-operate, I will strive to save the state,” he had said.
Cut to June 6, 2024, Naidu has taken charge as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh as table turned in the state after aseembly elections.
Along with Naidu, Jana Sena chief Pwan Kalyan and Naidu’s son Lokesh Nara also took oath as ministers of Andhra Pradesh.
