Masaba Gupta’s culinary tales never fail to delight the Internet. The soon-to-be-mom’s foodie diaries have always been the biggest motivator for healthy eating goals. Once again, the ace fashion designer turned actress has taken her taste buds for a flavourful ride. What is she relishing? Our all-time favourite South Indian delicacies. On Tuesday, June 11, Masaba left us drooling, as she dropped pictures of her recent foodie outing to Benne Bombay on her Instagram Stories. The first click shows two bamboo plates kept in front of each other. One plate includes half-eaten fluffy podi idli dipped in two different types of chutneys.

The other is carrying crispy vada soaked in what looks like coconut chutney. It appears that Masaba also ordered a beverage, as the picture shows a filter coffee tumbler and bowl kept next to her plate. Sharing the picture Masaba wrote, “The best podi idli of my life and the vada is out of the planet. Benne Bombay Thank you for feeding me and my baby. I love you forever and will be here once a week!”
Masaba Gupta’s South Indian gastronomical adventure doesn’t end here. In the next Instagram Stories, Masaba dropped a collage, featuring a picture of the restaurant’s board and its ordering machine. The collage also featured a lip-smacking plate of podi dosa with coconut chutney and one spicy chutney. Along with the photo, Masaba wrote, “Benne Bombay…just brilliant. Get the podi dosa + vada + iced Horlicks + that idli (extra chutney) best spot in Mumbai just now for South Indian (food).”
Masaba Gupta has always been candid about her love affair with food. The soon-to-be-mom recently conducted an Ask Me Anything session on her Instagram Stories, wherein she got candid about her “pregnancy cravings”. When a fan asked her “How’s pregnancy craving going”, Masaba dropped a video and didn’t shy away from revealing that she has been craving “nutritious food.”

However, Masaba also added that sometimes she craves cheat meals like crispy fritters. In the clip, she can be seen relishing rice, daal, achaar, aloo bhindi, and palak. Masaba Gupta said, “It (pregnancy craving) is going very well, I have to say. I am craving a lot of nutritious food like saag and fruits and stuff like that.
