“The Devil Wears Prada 2” trailer dropped on Wednesday, almost guaranteed to leave you wanting more. (Watch the video below.)
Meryl Streep’s Miranda and Anne Hathaway’s Andy re-meet cute in the elevator, but the rest of the teaser wisely leaves much of the sequel to the imagination. Kind of like a tasteful cashmere sweater.
We see snippets of Miranda’s heels clicking, a backless dress zipping and runway flashes to Madonna’s “Vogue” before the pair’s momentous reunion on the lift.
“Took you long enough,” Miranda snaps as Andy smiles and puts on her sunglasses.
It’s been almost 20 years since the fashion magazine editrix gave Andy hell in the original.
In the sequel, Miranda is hanging on in the business and is now having to cope with an old assistant (Emily Blunt) turned nemesis.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is scheduled to open on May 1, 2026.
Fashionably late, naturally.
