The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) celebrated the winners and honorees of the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, during a ceremony held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, on Monday night.
Hosted by Teyana Taylor, the evening recognized excellence across American fashion, from established designers to emerging talent.
Ralph Lauren took home the American Womenswear Designer of the Year award, presented by Naomi Watts, while Mark Ronson, Dao-Yi Chow, and Maxwell Osborne presented Thom Browne with the American Menswear Designer of the Year honor.
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen of The Row won the American Accessory Designer of the Year. The Google Shopping American Emerging Designer of the Year went to Ashlynn Park of Ashlyn.
A$AP Rocky was named Fashion Icon of the Year, presented by Anna Wintour, in one of the night’s most high-profile moments. Jennifer Lawrence presented the Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard to W Magazine’s Sara Moonves, while Amber Valletta and Ariana DeBose presented Donatella Versace with the Positive Change Award.
The Founder’s Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert was given to Cynthia Rowley by Julianne Moore, and the Innovation Award presented by Amazon Fashion went to Jerry Lorenzo of Fear of God, presented by Ava DuVernay.
Nicole Phelps presented the Isabel Toledo Board of Directors’ Tribute to designer André Walker. Naomi Campbell presented Pieter Mulier of Alaïa with the International Award, and the evening concluded with Ralph Rucci receiving the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Thom Browne.
