ALWAR: A 22-year-old cleric, identified as Shoaib Khan was arrested, on charges of sextortion and cyber fraud in Dholagarh Devi police station area of Gothra Khurd village in Alwar district, Tuesday.During investigation, police found nude videos and fraud online money transaction in the cleric’s mobile phone. Through sextortion, the cleric, who teaches at Gothra village madarsa, trapped Bangladeshis in his scheme.Dholagarh Devi police SHO Sanjay Kumar Sharma said, police received an information that an individual in Gothra Khurd village, was engaged in cyber fraud through sextortion using a mobile phone. Acting on this information, a police team arrested Shoaib Khan, a resident of Nichla Gothra.

His mobile phone containing nude videos of victims and screenshots of girls was seized. Police said, messages in the chat revealed that money was obtained from the victims through the BKASH app. During interrogation, the accused confessed to recording nude videos with several girls and extorting money by threatening to upload them on social media and send them to their families.
